Brazilian Coconut Beijinho

A traditional Brazilian coconut candy — soft, sweet, and loved at every party.

Sweetened condensed milk – 1 can (about 14 oz / 395 g).

Shredded coconut – 1 cup (about 100 g). You can use sweetened or unsweetened coconut.

Butter – 1 tablespoon, unsalted. Helps the mixture thicken and not stick to the pan.

Cloves – optional, used to decorate the top of each candy.

Granulated sugar or coconut – for rolling the candies and adding extra texture.
